How we learn where inquiries come from. When you visit waldenchicago.com, our website keeps a small record in your own browser (browser storage, not a cookie) of how you first arrived: the website that sent you (for example google.com or theknot.com), the page you landed on, when that first visit happened, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and, if you arrived by clicking one of our Google ads, the click identifier Google adds to that link. It does not contain your name or contact details. The record is sent to us only when you submit an inquiry form, together with your inquiry. While you browse our site, it is also placed in the page's web address, where our analytics provider, Google Analytics, may record it. We use this information to understand which of our advertising and listings lead to inquiries. The record expires after 90 days, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's data for our site.
