We’re proud to say that through our efforts, a typical event at Walden generates a third of a ton less carbon dioxide emissions than a similar-sized event at another venue. That is equivalent to the CO2 absorption of a single tree over 13 years or a 45-acre forest in a single day. With in-house rentals and food production done onsite, there’s less transport involved and thus, less pollution and waste produced. Weekly, we produce less than a cubic yard of landfill-bound trash.
